Commitment

Kasvu Labs is committed to fostering an inclusive, diverse, and equitable workplace. We recognise that gender equality is essential not only as a fundamental human right, but also as a driver of innovation, creativity, and excellence.

This Gender Equality Plan sets out our strategic commitment to advancing gender equality across the organisation. It has been formally adopted by the top management of Kasvu Labs and is published here so that staff, partners, and the public can hold us to it.

01 In practice

The four mandatory building blocks

We fulfil each of the process requirements set by Horizon Europe.

  1. 01

    Public document

This plan is a formal document, signed by the Chief Executive Officer and published on our official website. It is communicated to all staff and is publicly accessible, demonstrating our commitment to transparency and equality.

  2. 02

    Dedicated resources

We commit both human and financial resources to implementation. A Gender Equality Officer from our internal team monitors progress, organises training, and reports on outcomes, with appropriate working time and budget allocated.

  3. 03

    Data collection and monitoring

We collect and monitor sex and gender disaggregated data on our personnel. This data is reported internally to management at least every two years to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

  4. 04

    Training and capacity building

We run mandatory training on gender equality and unconscious bias for all staff, including top management and decision-makers. These sessions are documented to ensure continuous learning and compliance.

Current baseline, May 2026. 15 personnel across our Finland and Singapore operations, including employees and contractors, reviewed at least every two years.

02 Focus areas

Where we focus

Beyond the mandatory processes, we advance gender equality across five thematic areas.

  1. 01

    Work-life balance and organisational culture

We support a healthy work-life balance through flexible working arrangements and respect for parental and care-related leave, sustaining a culture where everyone feels valued regardless of gender.

  2. 02

Gender balance in leadership and decision-making

We promote gender balance within our leadership team, keeping decision-making transparent and ensuring leadership opportunities are accessible to all genders without bias.

  3. 03

Equality in recruitment and career progression

Our hiring and promotion processes are designed to attract diverse talent. We monitor our internal policies, including our EU Pay Transparency Directive compliance assessments, to ensure equal pay for equal work and fair career progression.

  4. 04

Gender dimension in research and content

We encourage our teams to consider sex and gender analysis in project design and product development, so our solutions serve the needs of diverse users.

  5. 05

    Measures against gender-based violence

We hold a zero-tolerance policy towards gender-based violence, discrimination, and sexual harassment. Clear internal reporting mechanisms ensure incidents are addressed swiftly and safely, with support for those affected.
